Blowdryers and Characterization

Day 2 of my Hackey Sack Club humiliation. Today I'll cut right to the video, with a brief footnote to mention how impressed I am with the video program for capturing such a . . . shall we say expressive  moment as the stand-by picture. Yoinks.

My husband informed me that they just did a poll or something on the number of blowdryer users in the world. So here's my deep question: Do you use a blowdryer? Does your main character? (I had to tie this in to writing somehow!)

I leave the hairdrying of my hair to the professionals! LOL! Only cos I have two left hands and two right arms! I have absolutely no coordination! LOL!!

You have gorgeous hair! :-)

Take care

Little details like this are important to character development. Come to think of it, I do mention the female assassin getting her hair cut and colored for a particular job. No blow dryer though.

The scissors were awesome! You crack me up! I missed you and so glad you are back. You definitely need to use that blowdryer scene in one of your novels. One of my little girls had a scary moment with a round brush once, too!

I was going to say you can blow dry my hair--until the scissors came out. :D

I'm lazy with my blow dryer which is why my hair always looks like it's having a bad hair day. :(

What's a hairdryer?

No, seriously. There is technically a hairdryer in my house. But my morning hair routine amounts to wash it, comb it

What? You war waiting for more? Not my hair :)

Your skill with a blowdryer is awe inspiring! :)

wow. That's hilarious. I hardly ever try to even do my hair because I'm kind of a hermit. Only when I have an actual shoot do I leave and do my hair but mostly it ends up in a pony. You crack me up.

This is just... no words.

Thank you for sharing how you make your gorgeous hair so silky and shiny. That's a really big brush, btw. It was a very Sixteen Candles-ish experience for me. :D

(You rule, btw.)

I do blow dry, in an effort to make make hair look fuller. It usually lasts an hour or so - if I'm lucky.

I always mean to blow dry my hair. But it's so time-consuming, and there are so many more interesting things to do. Luckily, it's long, so I just pull it back with a clip.

Good point, though, about details like that mattering in our fiction writing.

That is such a skill! I don't think I have ever blow dried my hair in my life. I've had it blow dried by other people, but I have never attempted it myself. And I think now, after watching your video, I know why! Ha ha!

I use the hair dryer, I practiced a lot and now I can do it without any problems, I really like it, but I also use it when I really need it. I use a great hair dryer, it's the Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Dryer which dries the hair really fast and keeps it smooth, shiny and healthy. :D
