I've been working with my four year old on this issue.<br /><br />It's funny because I think sometimes English as a second language speakers have an easier time learning grammar rules of English--I think primarily because they don't have to "unlearn" lazy ways of speaking that they learned before they went to school. It's the only explanation for why I--who learned Spanish first--often scored so much higher on grammar tests than my English-as-a-first-language speaking peers. They learned me good ;)Carolina M.
