Winner and License Plate Interpretation

First, a random picture just because.

Second, the winner of The Liar Society is Dawn Simon. Congratulations! If you haven't yet, please email me your address (rjljohnson.janetATgmailDOTcom), and I'll send it post haste. :)

Third, you may have noticed I took my Blog Roll down. Something to do with a virus on one of the referenced blogs. Easiest thing was to chop the whole kit and kaboodle. I'll start rebuilding soon. Just wanted to let you know.

Finally, I know I've kept you all in suspense for a horrible amount of time, so here are the license plate interpretations from >>this<< post (for the "hard" ones):
  1. CRPE DM = Carpe Diem
  2. TRNTLA  = Tarantula (Pontiac G5 Spyder)
  3. HAF PINT = Half Pint (Cream-colored convertible Mini Cooper)
  4. YES OCFR = Yes Ociffer (What a drunk person would say to the cop who pulled him over. Odacious, no?)
  5. APRESVU = After you. (How polite!)
P.S. Here is another interesting one: NOT ED'S. It was on a convertible BMW. What's the story this time?

NOT ED'S? I have an answer, but I'm not sure it's family friendly. So I'll tone it down and say that a woman got the car in a divorce and she's especially proud that the car is no longer her husband's.

I agree with Vicki!

I thought the same as Vicki, but I'm thinking most women would not want their ex's name on a their cars. I'm guessing it was a sweet husband who bought his wife her own car!

Congrats to Dawn and the "yes ociffer" plate is hilarious.

LOL I hadn't thought about the COLOR of the Cooper.

I'm rooting for the loving husband theory.

I love koala's. I did a report on them at some point in elementary and have loved them ever since. How did I miss the license plate thing? How fun! Bummer about the blog roll :(

Yay Dawn! Apparently I'm not very good at this license plate thing. I drew a blank and didn't even see the obvious: Not. Ed's.

Love the koala picture. :)

Congratulations to Dawn!

I love reading all these license plates.

I know Koalas are cute but I have heard that they are bastards. Mind you, it was a bloke in a pub that told me this so not a reliable source.

Yay for Dawn! Hmmm, could the tag belong to someone who used to be married to Ed?

LOL! Oh boy, I probably don't want to hear the "Not Ed's" story. Sounds like something from WAITING TO EXHALE. :)

Hilarious!!
And I think it's so cool that you can put things like that on your plates! I mean, here in Chile, you can't do that :(

And I agree with Vicki! :D
Also thx for stopping by my blog today! <3

I'm guessing the BMW was part of a divorce settlement. My fave though is Crpe Dm. Love that one!

Christina Lee said...

YAY! I guessed some of them. NOT ED'S...huh. I don't know, but I love Theresa's guess-LOL!

I know somebody else who had a virus-on-their-blogroll issue. Darn viruses. You always remind me of how boring my license plate is. It has no possibility of meaning anything.

Congratulations to Dawn!

As for "Not Ed's," I'm not coming up with any decent guesses, but I'm thinking there could be a good story in there somewhere.

ROFL at Vicki's comment. :D

Those were great! And congratulations to Dawn :)... ummmm... I'm not sure about the NOT ED's though...

I suspect that in the last one ED stands for erectile dysfunction.

Ed is her hubby, and she just wanted to remind him who gets to sit in the driver's seat. :)

"NOT ED's"

I think it means NOT DEAD. As in, I may drive slow but guess what, I'm not actually dead. And this car, it may be old, but it is not yet dead.

Still going my friend, still going.
